Some Properties Preserved by Weak Nearness
We show that the properties of being injective, surjective, continuous, strongly surjective, stably solvable, carry over to weakly-near maps. We also prove a data dependence theorem for equations of the form A(x) = z, where A is weakly-near to some bijective map.
متن کاملProperties of Graded Posets Preserved by Some Operations
We answer the following question: Let P and Q be graded posets having some property and let ◦ be some poset operation. Is it true that P ◦Q has also this property? The considered properties are: being Sperner, a symmetric chain order, Peck, LYM, and rank compressed. The studied operations are: direct product, direct sum, ordinal sum, ordinal product, rankwise direct product, and exponentiation.
متن کاملMonoid Varieties with Extreme Properties
Finite monoids that generate monoid varieties with uncountably many subvarieties seem rare, and surprisingly, no finite monoid is known to generate a monoid variety with countably infinitely many subvarieties. In the present article, it is shown that there are, nevertheless, many finite monoids that generate monoid varieties with continuum many subvarieties; these include any finite inherently ...
متن کاملConvolution Properties of Harmonic Univalent Functions Preserved by Some Integral Operator
A complex valued function f = u+ iv defined in a domain D ⊂ C, is harmonic in D, if u and v are real harmonic. Such functions can be represented as f(z) = h(z) + g(z), where h an g are analytic in D. In this paper we study some convolution properties preserved by the integral operator In H,λf, n ∈ N0 = N ∪ {0}, λ > 0, where the functions f are univalent harmonic and sense-preserving in the open...
متن کاملAsymptotic properties of free monoid morphisms
Motivated by applications in the theory of numeration systems and recognizable sets of integers, this paper deals with morphic words when erasing morphisms are taken into account. Cobham showed that if an infinite word w = g(f(a)) is the image of a fixed point of a morphism f under another morphism g, then there exist a non-erasing morphism σ and a coding τ such that w = τ (σ(b)). Based on the ...
